Comming to his last test inning at the oval test from 14-18 August , 1948 he was required to make only 4 runs to achieve an unthinkable test batting average of 100 , but he got out for 0 bowled by Hollies of England .
But at that time according to him he was neither aware that it was going to be his last inning nor that he was requiring just 4 runs for a career average of 100 .
